01  /  THE GAME

What kind of world will your people leave behind?

Diachrony is a historical simulation project about a small human community learning to survive in an unfamiliar world. Landscapes shape opportunities. Knowledge lives in people. The consequences of ordinary decisions accumulate across generations.

Guide the clan's priorities without scripting every life. Whether your people explore, gather, move camp or settle, their history should emerge from what actually happens.

An evolving development vision, not a list of features promised for the first playable release.

02  /  THE VISION

Built around consequences.

Three ideas at the heart of Diachrony.

I

Geography matters.

Riverbanks, forests, seasons and scarce resources make every place a different proposition.

II

Knowledge is human.

People notice, remember, practise, share and sometimes forget what they have learned.

III

History keeps moving.

A camp may become a home, a home may be abandoned, and a new journey may begin.
